Projects
My work varies wildly between different mediums. Here you can explore said mediums as they pinwheel around my portfolio.
I’ve written a museum tour for Gairloch Museum, taken part in the Archive Project at the Anthony Burgess Foundation and written about Ornamental Hermits for the Historians Magazine. In my spare time I review heritage sites and verbally walk through people and places from the rich tapestry we call history. I also run a fake museum.
So what are you interested in? I’ve divided my projects into categories for your ease. Or alternatively just take a gander at my blog to explore my independent writing by date of upload.

From the Sea
Museum tour | February 2025
Exploring the relationship between the people of Gairloch and the seas, lochs and rivers that sustain them.
The aim of this project was to diversify the ways in which audiences could engage with the museum’s permanent collection in tandem with the ongoing digitisation of its historic collection. I was able to work with both objects on display and in storage to tell stories that span across their collections and encourage visitors to see connections in what might otherwise be disparate, collaborating with curatorial staff and volunteers. My aim was to create an experience that spread throughout the museum regardless of existing displays to tell a new narrative that breaks the pre-defined binary of the museum.
